Founded in 1997 as a humble retail gift shop under the name Gifts ‘R’ Us, Sasco Import & Export has grown into one of The Gambia’s most trusted names in retail and wholesale trade. From greeting cards and wrapping papers to children’s toys and jewelry, our early focus on quality gift items quickly built a reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.

By 2003, Sasco expanded into the wholesale sector with the launch of Sasco Cash ‘N’ Carry, meeting the rising demand for consumables such as food and beverages. Through strategic partnerships and agency agreements with leading brands, we established a robust distribution network that serves hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, minimarkets, organizations, and private households across the country.

In just a decade, Sasco became a frontrunner in The Gambia’s wholesale trade, officially registering as a limited company in 2008. Today, we proudly hold exclusive distribution rights for major international brands, reinforcing our position as a trusted partner in the FMCG industry.
